POINT TO POINT

Point-to-point construction is the way most tube circuits were constructed before and during the 1950's. Point-to-point construction is still used by ULBRICK SOUND to construct some of the worlds finest all tube amplifiers.  Each componant is directly soldered to the associated tube socket or tag strip to minimise noise and hum.  No circuit board is used, giving a more reliable amplifier.  Each tested component is insulated with PTFE military grade tubing, hand soldered with a special high silver content LEAD FREE alloy to comply with RoHS laws. ULBRICK SOUND is one of the few companies that is RoHS compliant and able to export to Europe and Japan.

Point-to-point wiring is by far the most time consuming build method, yet remaining the favored technique for the worlds finest amplification.

ULBRICK Amplifiers do NOT use any "off the shelf "transformers or chokes.

ULBRICK has a winding department that is solely devoted to building the best hand wound transformers and chokes available today.....PERIOD !
